Oral Communication

This foundational literacy skill covers all aspects of speaking and listening. Students engage in interactive opportunities to expand their vocabulary, communicate effectively, and respond thoughtfully to what they hear.

Reading

Our "DEAR Time" program fosters a lifelong love of reading. Beginning readers build their skills through phonics and a rigorous reading program, enhancing accuracy and comprehension until they become independent readers.

Writing

Writing helps students organize and communicate ideas. We encourage students to see writing as a purposeful, enjoyable daily experience, integrating authentic writing opportunities across the curriculum.

Mathematics

To make math engaging and eliminate fear, we’ve partnered with Eduten, a digital math platform based on Finnish pedagogy, offering gamified tasks to strengthen students' math skills.

Science

Our primary science curriculum inspires lifelong curiosity about the natural world. It covers six strands to ensure holistic science learning:

• Biology: Living things and their interactions.
• Chemistry: Study of matter.
• Physics: Interaction of matter and energy.
• Earth and Space: Planet Earth, the Solar System, and Beyond.
• Thinking and Working Scientifically: Scientific inquiry and practical skills.
• Science in Context: Demonstrates science's real-world relevance.

Global Perspective

This program develops skills in research, analysis, evaluation, reflection, collaboration, and communication, reinforcing links across subjects like English, mathematics, science, and ICT. Cambridge Global Perspectives uses a series of Challenges, each with a range of activities, to help students approach topics from personal, local, and global perspectives.
